Taipei Language Institute (TLI) was founded in New Jersey, U.S. in 1956, and set up school in Taipei the same year. In the last decade TLI has expanded into mainland China. A true leader in the industry of language instruction, with dozens of branches across the world, TLI has functioned as a model for others. Moreover, the institute has developed a distinctive teaching methodology, learning materials and assessment standards. TLI also boasts its own press �C TLI Publishing House �C where numerous Chinese teaching materials have been published independently.
    Over the last half a century, more than 200,000 students across the world have chosen TLI for instruction and have become bilingually expert in fields of business, politics, academic life, journalism, trade, law and evangelism. TLI has won great respect as the authoritative Chinese language training institute.
    In recent years, TLI has established centers in San Francisco (US), Toronto (Canada), Tokyo (Japan), and major cities in mainland China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Suzhou, Dalian and Guangzhou.
