TLI Educational Foundation is endowed by Chairman Marvin Ho, who has devoted tremendous energy and time to extend Chinese language education since 1986.  The foundation aims to promote the Chinese language and culture.  We are committed to the following,

1. Provide general assistance to those who wish to learn about the Chinese language and culture;
2. Provide advise and consultation to those who wish to become Chinese as a Second / Foreign Language teachers;
3. Recommend Chinese textbooks and accompanying materials for teaching and learning;
4. Promote the application of both traditional Chinese and simplified characters across the Strait;
5. Improve international culture exchange;
6. Cooperate with international groups who are keen on promoting the Chinese language and culture. 

Hold various art and culture activities throughout the year 

     Don��t just come for Chinese study; it would be such a pity if you haven��t learned about the local culture before returning home.  For this precise reason, TLI Education Found will conduct a series of culture course on different topics from time to time, such as Chinese music appreciation, Chinese opera appreciation, pottery making, poetry recital, and tea ceremony, as well as one-day excursions to nearby scenic spots.  All these activities will help the foreign students not only apply what they learnt in action but also immerse themselves into a total Chinese environment where they can appreciate the customs, history, and heritage of the locals.
