Since 2009, the founder of TLI, Dr. Marvin Ho has been working on revising “The Modern Chinese Cross-strait Dictionary.” His idea behind the revision is to recreate the original into a more convenient, easy-to-carry book for people from different backgrounds with varied needs. 
 
         In the year of 2011, TLI proudly presents “The Modern Chinese Cross-strait Dictionary for Essential Terms.” This new edition contains 20,000 commonly used Chinese entries for readers to use. The entire book is written in Simplified Chinese Characters, it demonstrates the differences in the Chinese language as spoken by people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. It is a handy reference book for all foreigners to step into the Chinese Culture.
